I agree that video games are likely to be the most popular use case for widespread NFT adoption. Once large game developers realize the insane profits they can make by taking royalties in the secondary market, they will all be on board. Epic Games is hesitant to add an NFT marketplace because they are worried it will cannibalize their current in-game-item sales. Now that percentage royalties can be included into the coding of a token, however, developers like Epic Games may be incentivized to open a secondary digital marketplace, allowing users to trade items amongst themselves. With this critical step, NFT trading will achieve mainstream recognition.
